Easter has always meant that Spring is on the way! We always got bubbles, skipping ropes and paddle boards. I have carried on that tradition to my kids. The Easter bunny brings all the signs of spring with him... or is it a her? An ongoing debate at our house. The kids were surprised when the Easter Bunny had this basket specially delivered as an early treat for them! Of course the kiddos will get more Kinder® treats at Easter but they will also get all the goodies that also promise that spring and summer are on the way.
Being a blogger has caused my family to develop a few funny quirks. The kids always ask if they are allowed to touch anything that is new in the house. Hubby will ask if a photo was taken before digging in to a treat in the fridge. The latest cute thing that happened was my youngest drew little faces on old socks and asked if I wanted to blog her craft. :) I *may* share that craft at a latter date. My eldest daughter came up with an idea she wanted to try after receiving this basket. She wondered how a Kinder® Smoothie would taste. So I let her decide how to proceed. Here is her creation!

Strawberry Kinder® Smoothie
1 large Kinder® egg (grated)10 frozen strawberries
3 Big spoon fulls of Vanilla Yogurt
1/2 Cup 1% milk
Grate the Kinder® egg. We tried not grating it and it resulted in a gritty smoothie.
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy! I hope you enjoy my daughters first blogged recipe!
Happy Easter and don't forget to stop by Kinder® Canadas facebook page and give them a "like". For every new "like" that the page gets, Kinder® will donate $1 (up to $25,000) to Children’s Miracle Network.

I just love these!! Kinder makes Easter so fun :)
ReplyDeleteMMM the smoothie sounds yummy. My kids have weird quirks too. It is hilarious. DO NOT TOUCH MAMAS REVIEWS!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Too cute... I wonder if they think all house are like that? :)
Deletemy kids LOVE kinder, they wish I was a Kinder Mom again this year! I was just gaining too much... lol
ReplyDeletethose little lambs are so cute.
I completely understand the gaining.. :) too tempting to have all that in the house. There is also a cute plush frog.
DeleteThat sheep is too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteMy kids think I get EVERYTHING for free. When their friends ask about something, they will say my Mom got that for review. They of course don't understand what that means and will question it, which my kids will say she got it for free. The big downside to this is my kids friends assume since I got something for free that I'd be happy to give it to them (or get another for them) for free as well! Especially when something is still sitting there in it's package, they assume since I haven't opened it that I don't want it.
ReplyDeleteRecipe sounds great, not sure I could have a kinder egg last long enough to try it though :)
YUMMY Kinder smoothie! Now that is creative thinking!
